Description

Louise Bourgeois’s spider exhibition is a showcase of the French sculptor’s larger than life art pieces. The spiders are a symbolic representation of protection, nurture, and adaptability which she derived from her relationship with her mother. In order to embody the protective, yet nurturing symbolism, I used a contrasting pink and black color palette paired with a traditional serif typeface. The goal is to utilize the palette, typeface, and gray-scaled imagery of the artist and her pieces to create visually striking content to promote the exhibit.

The project features brochure, Instagram posts, posters, and post card in order to advertise the exhibit.

The assets were created using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
